The FROM ATP collection is a series of six films on the ATP festivals, offering a fan’s eye view of one of the most unique and uncompromising music events in the world, shot by music’s most original and independent filmmaker.

Known for his field-work music videos of indie rock related musicians for the likes of Arcade Fire, The National, Beirut, to Bon Iver, and for his independent films such as An Island (with Efterklang) and Burning (with Mogwai), French filmmaker Vincent Moon shot this series of six experimental documentary shorts during the several editions of music festival All Tomorrow’s Parties in the UK.

The second part of the evening was dedicated to Moon’s recent researches into world music for his label Petites Planètes – dedicated to experimentation between images and sounds shot around the world. Moon has been traveling for the past 5 years in quest of local folklores and sacred music introducing his viewers to trance rituals from Vietnam, sufi rituals from Chechnya, shamans from the Amazon and much more…

Afterwards there was a Q&A with the man himself and curator Alexa Jeanne Kusber.
